Proud Future's Pride Peers 2025
26 November 2025
On the 26th of November, we were invited to perform as part of the Pride Peers event organised by Proud Futures at The Social Hub, Glasgow.
It was an excellent opportunity to meet new connections, be in fantastic LGBTQIA+ company and sing some favourite queer songs surpassing generations. We all enjoyed ourselves at an inspiring, connecting and joyful occassion!
Scotland's Climate March 2025
15 November 2025
We were very excited to be invited to the Scotland’s Climate March event organised by Friends of the Earth on Saturday, 15th November. At the end of the march, we huddled together on a tiny stage at Glasgow Green, and led a couple of sing a longs with the crowd. Great fun was had by all and we were proud to support such a good cause.
Bring and Buy Book Sale 2025
18 October 2025
Queer Voices Glasgow hosted a Bring and Buy Book Sale! This was in order to serve our community by exchanging some books.
We also had a bake sale which all profits went towards keeping our choir going and also towards funding our trip to Various Voices in 2026!
Govanhill Street Music Festival 2025
10 August 2025
We performed as part of the Govanhill Street Music Festival outside the Community Newsroom at 1pm and 3pm.
It was lovely warm day to be singing for passers by, amongst other talented musical acts happening that day.

It is a great opportunity to get to know other local choirs and is a great part of our Pride concert mine up.
Pride at the Burrell 2025

We joined other acts and events at the Burrell Collection to celebrate Pride Day and Month!
We sang hits such as Pink Pony Club and Smalltown Boy, and often the crowds joined in with the singing. It was so much fun as usual performing at the Burrell!

Spring Concert

Queer Voices Glasgow threw a Concert and raffle this April.
This was a great opportunity to interact with our community and is only the start of many concerts we hope to perform at this spring through summer.
Our choir was joined by guest performers: singer-songwriter Clare Quinn and writer and musician Carrie Marshall.
All profits went towards keeping our choir going and also towards funding our trip to Various Voices in 2026!
Bring and Buy Sale!

Queer Voices Glasgow hosted a Bring and Buy Sale!
This was in order to serve our community by exchanging some clothes that had been grown out of for fresh new looks!
We also had a bake sale which all profits went towards keeping our choir going and also towards funding our trip to Various Voices in 2026!
Winter Bake Sale
14 December 2024
For Christmas 2024, we hosted a Winter Bake Sale on the 14th of December.
We had a bake sale, teas and coffees, and had crafting stations scattered through room. We also had two performances through the day singing festive tunes to get everyone in the Christmas spirit!
All profits went towards keeping our choir going and also towards funding our trip to Various Voices in 2026!
Christmas at the Burrell Collection 2024

We were invited again by our friends at the Burrell Collection in Glasgow to sing some Christmas songs.
We had two performances (one in the morning and another in the early afternoon).
We sang some songs as a choir, but also got the audience to join in on some songs as well, to get into the festive feel-good spirit!
Hand in Hand Festival 2024

Queer voices Glasgow attended UK & Ireland's biennial LGBTQ+ choral festival in 2024!
45+ other LGBTQ+ choirs were in attendance with different sizes and ages.
It was a fantastic experience to Meet some new friends both near and far, with multiple opportunities to network and learn from others in our community.

Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival 'Moving Minds'

The annual Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival showcases how engagement in the arts can benefit mental health and wellbeing.
Queer Voices Glasgow were delighted to headline this fantastic community event, bringing together a number of local artists, musicians and organisations.

Revolutions: Songs of Change
March 2023
Revolutions: Songs of Change was QVG's first large concert. QVG performed a repertoire of songs focused on social justice, solidarity and pride.
We were joined by another local Southside choir, Govanhill Voices.
